Nicolas racing for DAMS in Estoril!

Estoril - Young French driver Nicolas PROST, competing this year in the French Formula Renault Championship and GT races, has joined Team DAMS for the Portuguese World Series meeting this weekend at Estoril.

The son of 4 times Formula 1 World Champion had a first day of testing in the Formula Renault 3.5 car today at Estoril. Nicolas who discovered the car and the track impressed the Team as he managed to progress all day with only 2 sessions of 2 hours and a lot of red flags interruptions.

Nicolas PROST said: "This weekend is like testing in race conditions for me. It was a good opportunity to discover this car and the series and take some experience of it. I am very happy how the things went today. We have worked on my driving style in order to adapt it to this car and it was a really good work session. The car is fantastic, the step from Formula Renault 2000 is really high and I enjoyed it a lot. We have more free practice tomorrow and I can’t wait going back in the car in order to continue my learning of the car and start to work on the set up."
